Anomic Warfare
Issue 11. Summer of 2001
Stewart interviews long-time activist Sue Coe. Bill considers the disconnect between a perceived self image and reality; asserts that this disconnect is fostered and taken advantage of in a capitalist society.
Stewart and Bill spent a day photographing in New York for the cover image of Times Square, as well as the back image of McDonald’s capped by the Empire State Building. Bill mainly stuck to his usual rants. Stewart interviewed Sue Coe, wrote a few pieces on audio technology, explored public key encryption, and submitted the text-less
Dead Space Chicks comic strip.
Two years would pass before the next issue. During that time Bill studied in England while Stewart applied for a full utility patent on his encryption algorithm and protested the Bush administration. With the print issues scarce the
Tweed website took on greater importance.
