Us Plot To Kill Its Own
The following Abc News article describes declassified documents from the 1950's and 60's outlining “Operation Northwood”, which called for Us-engineered terrorist attacks on its own major cities, the blame of which would be squarely placed on Cuba.
Code named Operation Northwoods, the plans reportedly included the possible assassination of Cuban
Gen. Lyman L. Lemnitzer was head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the time the plans were drawn up and presented to the secretary of defense. (www.nato.int)
